People thrive on gratitude, this affects how you feel and then how you think, which in return affects what you say and inevitably your actions.

So the better alternative is to give appreciation and be sincere and genuine about it. The extent to which a motivational speaker can help your staff to be confident is limited only by your assistance as an employer or manager. Motivational speakers can start the job of encouraging staff, but it ultimately need to be carried through and maintained by the managers. Staff actually want to hear gratitude from their bosses.
