By Matthew Davis

Pretend that you've been given an assignment to write a persuasive essay and there's a great contest for the one who writes the best persuasive essay. Now, start to think about the way to make your essay stand out from all the others. Where to start? First, keep in mind that persuasive essay topics will need five necessary essay sections: The Subject, a Thesis, an Attention Grabber, Research, Outline and Conclusion.

There are seven ways in which you can make your persuasive essay be unique. Second, it's important to understand what a persuasive essay is really about. Persuasive essay is writing that is creative and where the writer uses certain words to persuade the reader that their standpoint on a topic is the proper one.

3rd, choose a topic that you feel strongly about, a subject that the reader will also find fascinating. Be certain to check out AboutTopics.com. You'll be able to find many essay topics on that site. Once you've chose an fascinating subject, focus on one good viewpoint on the subject. For instance, if you choose a subject on certain medicines that can be dangerous to an individual instead of focusing on many dangerous sides of the medicine, select only 1 damaging side effect and show how that can affect a person's physical and psychological state. It's also important to keep in mind your reader. You want to hold your reader's attention; so keep the focus of your writing on the research you have accumulated and present it in an engaging and judicious way. One or two examples of good persuasive subjects are: "Media Violence influences Young Minds" and "The Influence of the Media: More Harmful than Anticipated?"

Fourth, do a little research that may offer serious proof on your topic. For instance, use research and reference material, cases of famous or local people in your confirm that had major repercussions from a certain medicine or quotations from 1 or 2 doctors. Next, bring into your argument an opposing standpoint. When you do this, explain the main opposing arguments and then follow up by disagreeing with those arguments and why you are feeling the way you do. As an example, if you opt to show that a certain medicine has been damaging to some, your opposing view would be something like, "Yes, it's true, many have said they had not any negative results from the drug, but who is to claim that they won't have problems in the future?" However , be cautious not to be unlikable when presenting the opposing debates. You need to ensure that your reader does not become turned off with a negative presentation.

Fifth, to make sure that your persuasive writing essay will stand out, you have to have an attention grabber. The notice grabber must be in your introduction at the very beginning. The attention grabber can be a famous quote, a question, a statistic or an expression and will be words you'll also use during your conclusion.

6th, as you go throughout your essayâ€"in the body of your essay - substantiate your introduction words with research facts which will back up your statement.

Seventh, in your conclusion, end your essay by going back to your original statement, restate your attention grabber and then end with a fascinating statement and complete your essay by stating the knowledge you bought from the essay learning process.
